11/09/2009 - Dayspring's Metal Man came home to become Draba (pronounced Dray-ba). We picked him up from the airport
around 8:25pm and got him home about 9:30pm. We cleaned him up a bit and then started introducing him to
the other family members.
It didn't take him long to warm up to Sondra. |

Shavora did very well with Draba. She did have to put Draba in his place once when he was was checking her out to see if there was any milk to be had. |

Our new kitten, Magic got right in the mix with no fear. Draba was a little stand-offish with her at first,
but then they just went about their business.
11/09/2009 - Draba was getting ready to take a nap on me. So, it was time to introduce him to his kennel. He was showing signs of needing to go potty, so I took him outside. It took him a minute to get accustomed to the cold, wet grass, but nature won out and he did his duty. I encouraged him to follow me up the steps and back inside and he had no problem. Then the fun began after putting him in his kennel. He cried for about 45 minutes. When he was quiet I went in to clean up the water he spilled. That got him going for another 45 minutes. |

11/10/2009 - Magic comes to check up on Draba and Shavora during rest time.
Magic and Draba are able to take a nap amidst all the toys. 11/12/2009 - Click here for a short movie of Draba howling captured from our webcam, which we can check from work. This is first day being left alone while we are at work. The kitten has come to play with him, but he got too rough with her (saw this on the webcam), so she bugged out. |

11/12/2009 - Emily finally gets to meet Draba.

11/12/2009 - Draba has a little body, but a big heart to take on big step-sister Shavora in a game of

11/24/2009 - Draba is really settling in. He almost always uses his puppy pad when he is not
outside. He is much neater than Kesali on his side of the kitchen. He is also asking to go
outside on occasion.
11/25/2009 - This picture shows how we separate the two out in the backyard. They have to be kept apart or they will never get to business. |

11/25/2009 - Here is a shot of Draba after he got all wet rolling around in the grass with Kesali.
11/26/2009 - Draba gets in some more play with Magic. He started getting rough, so we had to defend Magic. She takes quite a lickin' before she decides she has had enough. |
